to Develop Historical Storytelling Programs
A three to four hour program that delves into the research, development, presentation
and packaging of your historical programs, this program is for beginners and
experienced tellers.
• Marketing Strategies
A 1 ½ hour workshop that helps the beginner storyteller
to learn how to build a brochure and business card. How to design and compose
your brochures
and what programs you can use to build them with. How to advertise and market
your programs to the public and to schools. This program is for beginners and
experienced tellers.
• The Heart of the Story
Method’s for exploring and finding the heart of a story whether it be an
old traditional tale or a favorite personal story. In finding the heart we will
take a story apart and find out what is important in it to you and how to recognize
those elements. We will study how metaphor’s are used in the story and
how to use and interpret them. We will strip the story of all it’s guise
and brake it down to the essentials. We will also discuss several methods on
how to present the story.
